With over 30 years in Film/ Video Production, Creative Development, and Marketing/Advertising, GipPig founder Andy Johnson is no stranger to creating content. In fact, his early days in production were on the multi-award winning show Friends. After years in Hollywood, Andy moved into corporate production which led to a stellar ten-year career at Walmart as Sr. Director of Creative Advertising and Production where he managed the day to day development and execution of content across multiple digital platforms.
As social media started to become an equal player in the advertising world, new and relevant content was not just a weekly or monthly need for brands large and small, but a daily necessity. Andy soon realized there needed to be a faster way to provide social content for brands that delivered on the advertising front, but that was also authentic user-generated content.
Andy saw the problem and went in search for the solution. What if there was a way to connect brands with people in a genuine way that benefits both? This was how GigPig was born.
